Guidelines

• All mediums in all languages are welcome.
• There are no minimums, maximums, or content restrictions.
• You’re free to combine prompts and cross-post to other events that allow it.
• Prompts can be interpreted however you like; some are more abstract than others.
• AI-generated works are forbidden.

Card Types

You may choose one of two types of cards:

Standard — Basic bingo card with one prompt per square. Your options for prompts are ‘firsts only’ & ‘firsts and lasts.’

Hard Mode — Each square contains a general prompt, and you must use both the ‘first’ and ‘last’ version of it to fill a square. Both can be used in the same work. Alts can be used in whatever way works best for you.

Posting

You’re free to post wherever you’d like. On Tumblr & Bluesky, you can use the #SweetSpicyBeginnings tag!

Prompts

Prompts are entirely up to interpretation— ‘first birthday’ could be interpreted as a 1-year-old’s birthday, an adult celebrating their birthday for the first time, someone’s first birthday celebrating with a significant other, etc.
