Guidelines

General PolySK8 Events guidelines apply.

Prompter

• Prompts are anonymous. However, if you’d like to be tagged or otherwise notified about any fills, you can provide social media link(s) within the prompt itself.
• You can submit as many prompts as you’d like, but please don’t spam or send the same general prompt more than once.
• Your prompt should be open to fills involving some sort of non-monogamy. This can mean a ship with 3+ characters, a solo poly character, a pair in an open relationship, etc. Polyamory doesn’t have to be the main focus, but in the spirit of PolySK8, the general idea should be in there somewhere.
• You can be really vague (ex: EdenGear fluff) or more specific (ex: Shadow and Oka go to a swinger’s club for the first time and leave with a new boyfriend). Whatever works!
• If your prompt is inherently NSFW, please tag it as some combination of ‘mature’ and ‘explicit.’ That way, people can filter out NSFW prompts if they don’t want to see them!
• Currently, prompts will need to be approved before they go public, so you won’t see it show up on the list right away. As long as your prompt is an actual prompt, it’ll be approved; this is just to prevent spam or trolling.
• Please be clear about your squicks / do-not-wants!

Creator

• Please respect the prompter’s rating choices, squicks & do-not-wants.
• Prompters can recommend art or fic for their fill, but you’re free to do whatever you’d like if inspiration strikes.
• There are no minimum or maximum requirements for fills.
• If a prompt has already been claimed or filled, you’re welcome to claim or fill it again. The more the merrier!
• You don’t have to claim a prompt before you fill it, but it’s just a way to let people know someone’s working on the prompt.
• If you post on AO3, feel free to add your work to the PolySK8 collection.
• If you want to drop a claim, you can DM @PolySK8 and I’ll uncheck that box for you. You can take all the time you need to fill a prompt, but if you decide not to fill it at all, it’s helpful for others to know the prompt is unclaimed.
